I am delighted to confirm that we are reopening for all pupils on Monday 8 March. Restrictions will continue to be in place so that we can keep all our pupils and staff as safe as possible and we will respond to all government guidance as changes are introduced over the coming weeks and months.
Children will arrive from 8.50 to 9am each morning and leave at 3.15pm, using the same arrangements that were in place before Christmas. Children can be escorted to and from the playground by one adult only and we request that social distancing measures are maintained at all times. All adults are required to wear a mask whilst on the school site. Breakfast Club will be available from 8am each morning, please inform Mrs Henderson if you would like to book a place.
Children should wear full uniform, including school shoes, and long hair should be tied back. On the days when children have PE they should come to school in their PE kit and they will need a coat every day as we will be spending as much time as possible outdoors. A change of shoes is advisable for KS2 children as they will be on the field everyday. The school kitchen will be open and will provide a full menu; children may also bring in packed lunches in a wipeable box. All children will need a water bottle which should be washed every evening. Bags should not be brought into school if at all possible as only essential items should be required. Further details of all arrangements are in our reopening plan, which can be viewed below.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming our children back and can’t wait to see them. Please be assured that their well-being remains our priority and we will do all we can to keep them safe. Please contact me if you require further information or if I can help in any way.
Yours sincerely,
Barbara A Reilly-O’Donnell
